Bringing you the sound of authentic Hard Dance

Breakax is a hardstyle duo that will make you feel the power of hard dance. With their energetic and melodic (raw) tracks, they take you on a journey through the harder styles of dance music. Both signed to One Tribe Recordz, their own sublabel within renowned record label Ghost Recordz Group, Breakax consists of two talented producers and DJ's from Belgium, who share a passion for hard dance and a vision to create something unique.

Flexible booking (prices)

Every booking is different and has different requirements, therefore we do not work with (fixed) hourly rates and everything is negotiable: from material we need to provide to the subgenre(s) within Hard Dance that needs to be played.

Own music and sound system possible

We have a Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX3 mixer, a flight case with an amplifier, a full sound system and many lighting effects (lasers, smoke machines, moving heads, ...).​ Therefore you don't need to hire your own material for i.e. a birthday party as we can include this in our booking price making it cheaper for you than booking a DJ & renting your material.

With their innovative approach to production, Breakax continues to push the boundaries of the genre.

Broad knowledge of hard dance subgenres

We listen, attend events (and sometimes make)  multiple subgenres of hard dance because we do not limit ourselves to Hardstyle, Rawstyle, Rawphoric, etc. We can therefore deliver a varied set with different subgenres, or one hard dance genre, upon request.

FAQ about (booking) Breakax

Can you also play other genres besides Hard Dance?

As we are a hard dance duo, we only play music within hard dance, we make no exceptions to this. However, we can play any genre within Hard Dance: from Euphoric Hardstyle to Hardcore or Uptempo or even a set full of classics (we love classics). The only exception is anything with the signature sound of the Gearbox label from the period early 2024. Reason for this is that we ourselves are not supportive of this trend in Rawstyle and this would lead to us putting down an unauthentic set that we would not support ourselves.

How can I book Breakax?

We work with booking platform Gigstarter for all our bookings, which is completely free of charge as we pay them an annual fee for using the services. You can contact us there and fill in your requirements and details directly, so that we can send out a suitable offer via the platform.

Do I need to provide my own equipment?

This is not necessary. We have our own professional sound system, mixing board a large assortment of lights and SFX (smoke machines, lasers, ....). If you want to book us for a birthday party, for example, we can give you a more interesting price if you book us together with equipment, cheaper than you can do with another rental company.

What is One Tribe Recordz?

One Tribe Recordz is the separate sublabel within the European record label Ghost Recordz Group. Established in 2024 by Breakax, this label serves as a separate brand for our own hard dance releases. We also want to make this a home for other Hard Dance producers and several collaborations or guest releases are released here, instead of on the main label. One Tribe refers to the sense of unity and the strong and unique community within the Hard Dance scene.
